TRANSAT PAPREC
An ocean of adventure in mixed doubles
CONCARNEAU ➜ SAINT BARTHÉLEMY
Every two years, the Transat Paprec (formerly Transat AG2R) offers two teams the chance to compete against each other on the Atlantic aboard identical boats. The only transatlantic race on equal terms, since 1992 it has revealed the talents of men and women who are rising to a sporting and human challenge. Since 2023, at the instigation of the Paprec Group, the format has been unprecedented in ocean racing, as 100% of the duos must be made up of a woman and a man.

THE SKIPPERS INVOLVED
THE ONLY EQUAL-ARMED TRANSATLANTIC RACE
While the Figaro circuit's high standards are well established, the Transat Paprec, the only transatlantic race on its calendar, is no exception. The event, part of the French Elite Ocean Racing Championship, is one of the circuit's two flagship events, alongside the Solitaire du Figaro Paprec. This race has crowned the greatest sailors, past and present, from Jean Le Cam to Thomas Ruyant, recent winner of the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe in the IMOCA class, to name but a few. They all bear witness to the demanding nature of the event.
